It's easier to fix on hand and read .I LOVE watches and this one, from Survan, is new to my collection. This is my 2nd watch from this customer friendly watch company. I love the sleek look; the simple blue face; highly polished SS case and gold colored dial hands etc. It comes very nicely packaged in a wood case and cloth bag (see photo) which would present well if giving this watch as a gift.You can’t beat the price IMO, for a watch as nice as this one. With Stainless Steel case, sapphire dial, Swiss movement plus a 2 year warranty, it’s a bargain. It definitely looks and feels much more expensive than the price I paid…and it’s completely automatic, NO BATTERIES TO REPLACE…EVER!! A very good thing! I hate when my battery watches die unexpectedly. Automatic is the way to go.And after more than 3 days since my last use, the time remains spot on accurate when compared to my iPhone! I can highly recommend this watch and would purchase another, they have a great selection depending on the look you want.Looks very nice and seems to be a good quality watch. I love it, but time will tell if it’s good or not.Everything looks very nice! The size, the look, and price! The only thing that I didn’t like? Little difficult to see the time! Changing the color to something brighter?Awesome productThe watch "looks" ok...it actually wanted to return it...then the seller contacted me to adjust the price. After we had gone back & forth about the price adjustment. The seller took to long to reply. I couldn't return it, I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED.This watch looks great. It has a sporty, Omega-esque aesthetic, a great band, and seems to fit a large men's wrist well. It keeps time as well as can be expected, and the band seems nice too; it looks more expensive than it is, certainly.It is not, however, without its flaws. In particular, the readability and presentation of the watch are a bit... eh. The face is very dark. The arms are very dark. This means that the only thing really differentiating the arms from the face is the texture; the arms are a bit shinier, but not amazingly so. Difficulty in reading does not a great watch make.That aside, it is still giftable. The wooden box in which it comes (and the rustic burlap sack in which you can place it) are lovely. The box is great -- I know it isn't expensive, but it just is plain old nice to have as a gifting element. That having been said, you MUST purge the box of its documentation (stashed under the foam and so forth) before gifting it -- the accompanying paperwork and instructions (lol) take this from a 4.5/5 gift to a 2/5 "you sure chintzed out on this, didn't you?" present. The accompanying paperwork 1) begs for reviews on Amazon and 2) is written in comically horrific English. Example: "Please don't unclose the backcase by non-professional people, in case of damage." Ow.Overall, I would (and will) gift this watch, but just beware of the little extras that might belie its cost to your recipient.
