The picture does not do it justice or does not represent what you are looking for....unfortunately. I thought it was going to be more silver and curved around the frame...it kind of reminded me of a picture frame when I saw it.....however, it is square and not rounded...and looks more of likable blackish and steel bluish. Not to mention it looks more carved than it shows in the picture....I would say a little more bohemian instead of looking very polished. But it is definitely a very nice, well made mirror for the bathroom. I was looking for a big mirror to fill the space above my Newley remodel bathroom ...the bathroom was remodeled 2 years ago and it sat without a mirror because I was looking for the most perfect one...unfortunately every perfect mirror I found was not rated for a bathroom...who knew that until I remodeled :). When I picked this one out...I thought oh well it's not exactly what I was looking for but now I really need a mirror for my guests......so with the price for the size I picked this one with every intention of getting rid of it once I found the perfect mirror....and then "too my surprise" it was perfect.
